On August 12, 2008, Governor Jim Doyle toured the Pike Lake Chain for a first-hand look at Eurasian Water Milfoil and the effects of treatments conducted by the IRALA. Bev Blazkowski recorded his tour with her camera.

Purpose of the association

1. Provide a forum for membership concerns that include, but are not limited to the following: Environmental Issues, Crime Prevention/Law Enforcement, Quality and cost of education within our district, and Legislative and governmental activities.

2. Gather and distribute information relating to the concerns of the membership through annual and special meetings and newsletters.

3. Provide membership representation at various governmental and civic functions as deemed necessary by: Personal attendance and written communication
